And here we go again, Another awesome showdown, this time coming from No Retreat itself. Starring 2 of our No Retreat Horus Heresy players, Jamie Jackson aka The Rout with his Custodes and Andrew Hall with his amazing Sons Of Horus. Choosing the battlefield today, we decided to go for an old favorite with the Factory set up in the middle, picturing Horus leading the attack through one of the industrial sites, as the Custodes drop in to stop him in his tracks.

Big shout out to the Team for setting up this table along with all the others for No Retreat, and somehow finding time to grab a couple of players to do a Battle Report during the non stop action during the weekend.

Andrew kicks off deployment after winning the roll off, opting to go for a centralized set-up with his Justaerin Terminators and Dreadnoughts.
The Sons of Horus prepare to march up between the factory buildings
Telemon, along with the Dreadnoughts, counter deploy in the centre. What a awesome looking model!
The two Pallas Grav-Tanks set up to one side giving some support to the flanks.
With both side holding units in reserve, deployment is all finished. Jamie attempts to seize the initiave, but fails on a 1. He tries again thanks to Valdor’s warlord trait, but still fails. Onto Sons of Horus turn 1…
Turn 1 (Sons of Horus)

The Reavers deep strike onto the left flank in their Dreadclaw, but decide not to disembark quite yet. Are they scared to face the high firepower of the Custodes? Maybe the doors are jammed?
