Rejoice primatives, for today you will be given a chance to prolong your insignificant existence. In full accordance with the honour codes of Necrontyr, I, Lord Tauromon, master of the Solomon Reaches, conqueror of the Dromonic Demsene, vanquisher of the Unlight, Destroyer of Harpensia, have seen fit in my infinite wisdom to grant you a boon. A warning. You have mistakenly built your pitiful hovels upon a world that is not your own. I have come to reclaim it for the eternal glory of the Sautekh Dynasty. You have 20 rotations of your primary satellite to evacuate. Failure to comply will result in extermination.

Calling all imperial citizens, worshipers of the chaos gods and battle hungry xenos, this weeks battle report is a real studio classic. In this game we will see two veteran SN Team members come head to head using two of the studios most incredible armies. In the imperial corner, Chris pulls the heroic Crimson Fists out of the cabinet and onto the battlefield to take on Julian who will be using the dark and sinister Necrons. In the not so distant past, this very same Necron army, in the hands of Nick, made short work of Mark’s Deathwatch. Chris keeps this in mind as both players make their lists. In the mean time Steven sets up another brilliant board, trying to incorporate as many traditional SN features as possible into the battlefield. Lists and table ready, I see no more reason to delay, lets get this SN grudge match underway!
Deployment

Having taken a short leave of absence from their duties on the dead world of Mandragora, the powerful Conoptek Wraiths show their presence on this field with a determination and drive to prevent any living soul from intruding or damaging their sacred Tomb World.

Deployment

The reliable Warriors form the cold heart of the Necron center. The dull pale glow which emanates from their Gauss Flayers illuminates the looming Triarch Stalker which Julian has positioned to provide close fire support for his infantry.

Deployment

Steadfast and stubborn warriors, chiseled by decades of hopeless war, make their unyielding stand against their Xenos opponents. Terminators, made veteran by none other than Pedro Kantor himself, take up position in front of the colossus Relic Leviathan Dreadnought. Even from the perspective of the Necrons, this deeply ancient machine generates an aura of both respect and fear on this battlefield.

Deployment

Chris deploys a unit of Scouts in a nearby ruined building. Well trained but still fairly green, these eager recruits are ready to do their chapter proud and line up all possible targets in their sights.

The roll-off is won by Julian with Chris failing to steal the initiative. The Necrons take the first turn…
Turn 1 (Necrons)

Julian marches his forces up the board. He is determined to secure Frist Blood and pushes to ensure as much as possible is within range to fire.

Turn 1 (Necrons)

The infantry form two sweeping flanks and stand ready to surround and destroy any oncoming enemy units in a hail of Gauss fire. The Overlord conveys his will onto the Immortals, granting them a +1 bonus to their ballistic skill characteristics.

Turn 1 (Necrons)

All infantry in range, with the support of the Triarch Stalker, fire the first shots of this game. They open into the Terminator squad and shower the veteran space marines with a hail of Gauss energy. Three terminators succumb to the tareing force of the magnetic weaponry as both their armour and flesh is broken down at the molecular level.

Turn 1 (Crimson Fists)

The very earth beneath its ponderous feet begins to shake and shudder as the massive leviathan moves forward to confront its enemy where the terminators fell.
